
Senator Bonacic Meets with Officials in Port Jervis to Discuss Economic Development Projects and Potential Railroad Improvements

(Middletown, NY)-State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) met this morning with a diverse group of officials in Port Jervis to discuss economic development projects for the City, as well as potential improvements to the rail line. In attendance at the meeting were members of the Port Jervis City Council, City of Port Jervis Mayor Kelly Decker, representatives from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, county officials, as well as other state officials. The meeting focused on potential and current economic development projects for the City of Port Jervis as well as a discussion on a possible realignment of the existing rails controlled by Norfolk Southern Railroad that runs through the City.
