Deadline to Apply for Lake Ontario Relief & Recovery-Homeowner Recovery Program

The deadline for homeowners to submit an application for the Lake Ontario Flood Relief and Recovery-Homeowner Recovery program is Friday, September 29th by 5pm. Attached is a flier with more information on the application process and where you can get an application to apply. For residents of Monroe County, Sheen Housing is the administrator of the grants and an application can be found at their website, sheenhousing.org, or by calling their offices at 657-4114 for more information.

Homeowners in eligible areas that sustained direct physical flood-related damage will be eligible to receive up to $50,000 under this program. The program is open to all owners of primary residences and to owners of non-primary residences with income no greater than $275,000 for the 2016 taxable year.
