Amherst, NY - Senator Mike Ranzenhofer is reminding the public that school is back in session and to be vigilant and aware of children walking or riding their bikes to and from school. In the last decade, over 25 percent of child pedestrian fatalities occurred after school, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. New York State averages 300 pedestrian fatalities annually.
