Senator Helming Recognizes Shortsville Fire Department

I had the pleasure of attending the Shortsville Fire Department Annual Banquet this past weekend. Members of the Shortsville Fire Department and other local departments gathered to honor those who were distinguished for their contributions to the fire department, including 2016 member of the year Arlene Foster. Chief Wagner referred to Arlene as always being there in a person’s “hour of need.” Congratulations Arlene and thank you for your great service to the people of this community!

In addition to recognizing hardworking members of the department, it was an honor to be been inducted into the Shortsville Fire Department as an Honorary Member. Thank you for making me a part of the Shortsville family!
