Reverend Samuel Rodriguez’s Invocation During the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony Made History
You should know that for the very first time in the history of this nation, a Hispanic Evangelical Minister gave the invocation at the Inauguration Ceremony for the 45th President of the United States of America.
Reverend Samuel Rodriguez, a fellow minister, was chosen by President Donald Trump to deliver the Invocation.
How proud I felt to see an old friend who once lived here in New York before moving to California now representing every Hispanic Evangelical minister throughout the world at this momentous event.
Reverend Sammy Rodriguez preached here in the City of New York many years ago, and remains one of our most respected and regarded faith leaders.
The selection of Reverend Samuel Rodriguez by President Donald Trump can only be seen as a hopeful sign of things to come, and an especially blessed day for Hispanic Evangelicals!
I am Senator Reverend Rubén Díaz, and this is what you should know.
