Albany, N.Y., June 6--John B. Rhodes, who currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), has been nominated by Governor Andrew Cuomo to be the next Commissioner and Chairman of the state Public Service Commission (PSC).

The Senate Energy and Telecommunications Committee held Rhodes' confirmation hearing this morning in Albany, where he was questioned by Senator O'Mara and other committee members.
