The federal government’s latest Internet Crime Report ranks New York fourth-highest in the nation in the number of internet crimes reported. In conjunction with National Data Privacy Day recently, several state agencies jointly released a list of important safety tips to raise awareness of privacy and data protection issues, as well as to help consumers, businesses, government agencies and other organizations enhance the protection of their online privacy and information.
