Senator Montgomery celebrates the opening of Concern Bergen, a 90-unit supportive housing development for persons with disabilities and families in need of affordable housing. Concern for Independent Living, a leading non-profit provider of supportive housing constructed the building with funding from the NYS Housing Homes & Community Renewal and the NYS Office of Mental Health.
Concern for Independent Living was originally founded in 1972 as an advocacy organization. For over 40 years, they have provided supportive services to individuals their families through New York City and Long Island.
