- Participatory Budgeting
New York state Senator Jesse Hamilton, in partnership with Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams and the Bridge Street Development Corporation, invite you to help spend $1 million to improve your neighborhood.
Community members can propose projects like improvements to schools, parks, libraries, public housing, and other public or community spaces with the use of certain public funds.
Community members like you can also sign up to be Neighborhood Organizers, who help operate vote sites during Vote Week, August 6-12, 2018 to bring the ballot to the people. Volunteers receive training, and can then work for a few hours or a few days.
All proposed projects must be located in Senate District 20; you can view a map of the District 20 boundaries here. Please review the full list of criteria below before submitting your project.
