Urban Policy Breakfast Tackles Economic Empowerment

Honored to present Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. with a Resolution on behalf of the New York State Senate honoring a decades-long commitment to human rights, civil rights, and social justice. It was also my pleasure to serve as a panelist at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition Wall Street Project Economic Summit’s Urban Policy Breakfast this morning. Our panel touched on so many topics that are critical to the communities I serve including how we can advance economic empowerment, MWBEs, & access to capital, and how infrastructure investments can be a catalyst for growth, jobs, & development. Really valuable discussion, and as Rev. Jackson said, policy leaders across the country coming together and learning from one another is one more step forward in promoting economic opportunities
