(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined several of his colleagues at a public hearing in Watertown earlier this week, examining the Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises program (MWBE) in New York State. The joint hearing was held by the Senate Labor, and Economic Development Committees to consider potential legislative solutions to create a more effective and efficient program to enhance New York’s business climate. Senator Bonacic and his colleagues heard testimony from a variety of businesses across New York State about their experiences with the MWBE program and their suggestions on how to improve it.
