(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined several of his colleagues earlier this week for a tour of Fort Drum, which is located in Jefferson County, New York. Situated 30 miles from the Canadian border, Fort Drum is home to the 10th Mountain Division and over 14,000 active duty soldiers. Every year, the Senate hosts a Fort Drum Day, where soldiers come to Albany and showcase the facility and the work that they do. The tour this week allowed Senator Bonacic and his colleagues a first-hand look at the facility, and everything that they do there.
