Batavia, NY- Senator Ranzenhofer joined leaders from Batavia Downs and Thurman Thomas, Bills Hall of Fame running back, to break ground on Batavia Downs' $4 million expansion project that will offer new amenities to better serve customers.
“As a member of the Racing, Gaming and Wagering Committee, I’m pleased to see the only municipally owned gaming facility in New York state expand to better serve the Western New York community,” said Ranzenhofer. “Their new amenities are spectacular, and I wish them success as they officially open their new facilities to the public.”
Coming off recent renovations to the parking lot, paddock room and construction of the party deck, Batavia Downs’ new expansion features a new cigar bar, additions to Fortunes restaurant that include a new banquet area and bar, as well as the addition of kitchen space to more efficiently serve 34 Rush customers.
