Rochester, NY- Senator Mike Ranzenhofer recently met with members of the Highland Hospital's leadership team to discuss the outstanding clinical programs that respond to the needs of the Rochester community. Located on South Avenue, the community hospital is a strategic affiliate partner within the University of Rochester Medical Center system.
Since 1889, Highland Hospital has played a role in the health of residents in the city of Rochester. It is the first hospital in the U.S. to use insulin to treat diabetes, as well as the first hospital in Rochester to establish a health care information center exclusively for women.
