B82 SBS Service Implementation

The MTA NYC Transit and the NYC Department of Transportation will begin implementation of the B82 SBS service on Monday, October 1, 2018.

Attached, please find information about this service, which serves to remind you of the planned service.

The B82 SBS replaces the B82 limited service; the B82 local route will continue to operate without any changes.

Celebrate Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, with Senator Roxanne J. Persaud! From 2 to 7 p.m., the District Office will be giving away candy to all trick or treaters who visit. This special event is held in partnership with Bangladeshi American Community Development & Youth Service, Brooklyn Canarsie Lions Club, David’s Optical, Inc., HSBC Bank – Rockaway Parkway Branch and NYPD Community Affairs.

Senator Persaud's Homeowners and Tenants Enrollment Event

Senator Persaud, the Department of Finance and HPD are holding an event for homeowners and tenants at Canarsie High School's cafeteria (1600 Rockaway Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11236) on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homeowners may apply for an exemption and lower their property tax bills; tenants (seniors and those with disabilities) may apply for SCRIE or DRIE and keep their rent from increasing.
