2019 New York City Parking Calendar, Courtesy of Senator Persaud
February 15, 2019
Dear Friend,
It is my pleasure to provide
you with a copy of the 2019 New York
City Parking Calendar. Please keep the calendar handy and refer to it whenever you have questions about where and when you may legally park your vehicle on holidays and days of religious observance throughout the year. Knowing the parking rules may save you the headache and expense of receiving a ticket or having your vehicle towed. I hope you will find this calendar useful throughout 2019. As always, if I or my staff can be of any assistance to you, please don’t hesitate to contact my office.
Sincerely,
Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, 19th Senate District

Please note that alternate side parking regulations may be suspended from time to time due to snow emergencies, inclement weather conditions or other emergencies. For further information, please visit the Department of Transportation website at www. nyc.gov/dot or dial 311 for more information. All calls to 311 are answered by a live operator, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and services are provided in over 170 languages. Dial 311 from within the City or (212) NEW-YORK (639-9675) outside the five boroughs. TTY service is also available by dialing (212) 639-9675. All of NYC was designated a Tow-Away Zone under the State’s Vehicle and Traffic Law in 1959. This means that any vehicle parked illegally, or with missing or expired registration or inspection stickers, may be towed. Double-parking of a passenger vehicle is illegal at all times, including street cleaning days, regardless of location, purpose or duration. It is illegal to park within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant. The painted curbs at hydrant locations do not indicate where you can park. An occupied, illegally-parked vehicle causes the same safety hazard and congestion as an unoccupied vehicle. Exercise responsibility; park legally.
