Senator Persaud/Brookdale Hospital Free Mammogram Screenings Flyer

Senator Roxanne J. Persaud partnered with Brookdale Hospital to offer free mammogram screenings on two separate dates this month.

Senator Persaud, in collaboration with Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, is offering free mammogram screenings at One Brookdale Plaza, Brookyn, NY 11212 on Jan. 24 and Jan. 26, starting at 9 a.m. each day. All insurance plans are accepted, and it is free for uninsured women ages 40 and older. Those interested are being asked to make an appointment with Michelle Petal at (718) 240-5276, and to bring with them a prescription from their doctor. Senator Persaud's Homeowners and Tenants Enrollment Event

Senator Persaud, the Department of Finance and HPD are holding an event for homeowners and tenants at Canarsie High School's cafeteria (1600 Rockaway Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11236) on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homeowners may apply for an exemption and lower their property tax bills; tenants (seniors and those with disabilities) may apply for SCRIE or DRIE and keep their rent from increasing.
