Senator Roxanne J. Persaud partnered with the New York Legal Assistance group and the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program to bring their Mobile Legal Help Centers directly in front of the District Office on four different dates this year.
Senator Roxanne J. Persaud partnered with the New York Legal Assistance group and the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program to bring their Mobile Legal Help Centers directly in front of the District Office on four different dates this year.

The New York Legal Assistance group and the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program are holding Mobile Legal Help Centers, offering legal services on wheels to low-income New Yorkers in need of legal help.  Sponsored by Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, the Center/vehicle will be parked right in front of the District Office. It contains four private meeting areas for attorneys who are available for counseling, advice and direct representation, and there is access to judges for emergency hearings, including domestic violence and eviction cases.

The dates are Feb. 26, April 16, June 5 and Aug. 14, and each day's operations will start at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Appointments are necessary, please call Senator Persaud's office at (718) 649-7653 to make one.
