Senator Persaud, in collaboration with Sunrise Adult Health Care Center, is hosting a Senior Resource Day for Senate District 19 on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the District Office (1222 E. 96th St, Brooklyn, NY 11236). Come by for free refreshments and to get to know other seniors in the community! There will also be important information and resources available!

In partnership with the American-Italian Cancer Foundation, Senator Persaud is hosting a No-Cost Mammogram Bus at the District Office. On July 17, if you are a woman between age 40 and 79 who lives in New York City and has not had a mammogram in the past year, come in for a No-cost Mammogram and Clinical Breast Exam Eligibility. The second date is June 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Services (876 Schenck Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207).
