Senator Montgomery's "Examining The State of Our Youth" Roundtable Series continues on Friday, October 25th at SUNY Sullivan. "Home Grown: A Round Table Discussion on Youth and the Future of Work in Upstate New York" will engage a diverse group of area employers, educators, and workforce and economic development partners in a discussion on how we can develop and expand job opportunities and careers for young people.
The event is co-convened by Senator Jen Metzger, Chair of the Committee on Agriculture, Senator Velmanette Montgomery, Chair of the Committee on Children and Families, Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, Chair of the Committee on Social Services, Senator David Carlucci, Chair of the Committee on Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther, Chair of the Committee on Mental Health, and Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee, Chair of the Committee on Children and Families.
