New York State Senate Passes Historic Voting Reforms

It is so important that we create an environment where individuals are encouraged to take part in the political process. I was proud to join my colleagues to pass a package of voting reforms including early voting, same-day voter registration, no excuse absentee voting and closing the LLC loophole. A special congratulations to my new colleague, Senator Myrie as Chair of the Elections Committee.
