Public Service Commission Directs National Grid to immediately connect the 1,157 customers that were previously denied natural gas services
October 28, 2019
Chair and Chief Executive Director of the New York State Public Service Commission John B. Rhodes updates Senator Montgomery and members of the New York State Senate on action taken in response to National Grid's moratorium as a follow-up to their September 2019 letter.
In his October 11th letter, Chair and CEO Rhodes notes that the Commission has directed National Grid to immediately connect the 1,157 customers that were previously denied natural gas services due to the moratium. As National Grid claims to be making large measures to make sure customers have adequate gas supply during the winter, Chair Rhodes goes on to state that the Commission will be monitoring the company and their strides towards connecting customers and maintaining adequate natural gas supply.
