State Senator Velmanette Montgomery convenes meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Children and Families. 

On the committee's agenda:

S1086B Persaud - An act to amend the social services law, in relation to allowances for the costs of diapers

S3186 Kennedy - An act in relation to establishing Brendan's law; and to amend the social services law, in relation to requiring cordless window coverings in child day care centers, public institutions for children and certain other facilities  

S3420 Savino - An act to amend the social services law, in relation to parents and caretakers who work a late shift 

S4074 Biaggi - An act to amend the executive law, in relation to the maximum age at which a homeless youth can continue to receive shelter services 

S4476 Montgomery - An act to amend the executive law and the New York city charter, in relation to directing the office of children and family services and the New York city administration for children's services to submit annual reports concerning information related to children served by their respective programs
