On July 8, Senator Biaggi stood with NYSNA, Mayor Shawyn Patterson Howard, and Mount Vernon residents calling for the the full reopening and revitalization of Mount Vernon Hospital. Throughout this pandemic, Mount Vernon has been one of the hardest hit areas in Westchester County. If COVID has taught us anything, it is that our community needs more access to emergency and intensive-care services, not less. Now more than ever, we must invest in the resources and infrastructure our communities need to survive and prosper.
