On May 6, Senator Biaggi joined New York Campaign for Alternatives to Isolated Confinement's statewide action. She stated, "I am tired of having to call on this state to do the right thing and end the torture of solitary confinement in New York. Our neighbors are dying, and we have the power to stop it. We need to get back to session and pass #HALTSolitary NOW."
