WHEN: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29th @ 4:00 P.M.
Senator David Carlucci will host his 15th Virtual Town Hall on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on Facebook Live. The series of town halls is part of Senator Carlucci's efforts to inform residents on the COVID-19 response and to address issues related to it's impact on our health care system, economy, and schools.
For Wednesday's conversation, Carlucci will focus on distance learning and it's challenges. He will be joined by Nanuet Union Free School District Superintendent, Dr. Kevin McCahill. Dr. McCahill previously served as a Middle School and High School Math Teacher and a High School Assistant Principal.
Calucci and Dr. McCahill will be discussing the tremendous efforts teachers have undertaken to keep students learning on pace for the school year, the digital divide, the impact distance learning has on mental health, and ways parents can best support their children.
