Senator Gaughran's 2020 Women of Distinction Nomination

With the celebration of Women’s History Month in March, our office is accepting nominations until Sunday, March 1 for the Senate’s 23rd annual “Women of Distinction” program to honor local women making outstanding contributions to our communities.

We will be holding our New York State Senate Women of Distinction awards ceremony in the district on Saturday, March 21st at 12:00pm at the Cold Spring Harbor Library ( 95 Harbor Rd, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724). My office will be accepting nominations for local residents to nominate friends, co-workers and neighborhood leaders whose outstanding work on behalf of their communities makes them deserving of special recognition by the State Senate as a New York “Woman of Distinction.” Nominees must reside in the 5th Senate District.

The deadline for submitting nominations is  Sunday, March 1st. Nominations can be submitted online at this link. E-mail requests for a nomination form can be sent to ferone@nysenate.gov, or call our district office 516 922 1811.
