ALL New Yorkers can get three free meals a day at more than 400 Meal Hubs across the city! Vegetarian halal options are available at all sites and we now include sites that offer exclusively kosher certified meals. All sites offer vegetarian, halal and kosher options.
In honor of Ramadan, NYC announced it's adding over 400,000 halal meals to its free program. Additional halal meals will be available at 32 schools sites in areas with higher Muslim populations.
Update: We shared your feedback with NYC Dept. of Education nd I'm excited to share that P.S. 89 Elmhurst will be now be OPEN as a free meals food hub starting Monday, April 27, 2020!
