Senator Ramos’ district —which includes Elmhurst, East Elmhurst, Corona, Jackson Heights and parts of Woodside and Astoria — is at the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in New York City. On Wednesday, April 15, she was joined by several New York City agencies and organizations to discuss the impact of this public health crisis on our health care system, housing, transportation, education, immigration and workforce.
