Senator Serrano Advocates for Healthcare Workers at Lincoln Hospital

After weeks of advocating on behalf of healthcare staff at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, Senator Jose M. Serrano sent a letter to President of NYC Health + Hospitals Mitchell Katz regarding providing sufficient PPE and requesting clarity on the attendance policy for healthcare workers.
"Our healthcare workers are bravely saving lives on the front lines of this pandemic," said Senator Serrano. "They are heroically going above and beyond to help patients, comfort families, and ensure that New Yorkers get the best care possible during the biggest public health crisis of our generation. We must ensure that they have enough supplies, support, and clear communication from decision-makers to safely and securely do their job."
