(Levittown, NY) — Two Levittown businesses have won the New York State Senate Empire Business Award in recognition of their significant contributions to the community and New York State.
Senator Kevin Thomas presented Domenico’s Pizzeria Restaurant and Minuteman Press of Levittown with the Empire Award, the highest award given to businesses by the New York State Senate. This award is given to exceptional businesses who go out of their way to give back to the community.
Family-owned Domenico’s has a long-standing reputation for opening its doors to community organizations, including the Levittown Kiwanis Club and the Levittown Lions Club, often generously donating food and supplies to volunteer causes. Minuteman Press, a full service print shop located in Levittown, joined in the fight against COVID-19 by printing face shields, ventilator parts and other critical items for essential workers in the Levittown community.
“It is an honor to recognize these two local businesses, who have done so much for the Levittown community during an incredibly difficult time,” said Senator Kevin Thomas. “From donating food to our essential workers, to supplying critical items to help address a public health emergency, Domenico’s Restaurant and Minuteman Press are truly deserving of the Empire Award.”
