Conversation with Childcare Providers in The Bronx

On October 20th, Senator Serrano joined Children & Families Committee Chairs Senator Jabari Brisport and Assembly Member Andrew Hevesi at East Side House Settlement in the Bronx to discuss how the legislature can best support New York's childcare providers.  

"Early childcare providers have deep insight into the challenges families face when it comes to high quality early education and childhood care," said Senator Serrano. "Expanding access to early childhood care will level the playing field for struggling families across New York, many of whom are having to make difficult choices between jobs and caregiving.
