On July 29, Senator Serrano joined the NYC Parks Department and his colleagues in government to cut the ribbon on a $3.1 million renovation for Pulaski Park in the Bronx. The project includes renovated basketball courts, an asphalt sports field, a new play area, security lighting, benches, plants, and more for the community to enjoy.
"More than ever, our parks have become a sanctuary for our communities to safely gather outdoors," said Senator Serrano. "All New Yorkers deserve quality recreational facilities that instill pride in our local parks. I thank NYC Parks Bronx Commissioner Iris Rodriguez-Rosa, Council Member Diana Ayala, and all who helped make the renovation of Pulaski Park possible."
