Sen. Borrello Shares Property Owner Tax Rebate Lookup Tool

WELLSVILLE, NY – As Sen. George Borrello told Bob Mangles of WJQZ radio in Wellsville this morning, even though Gov. Kathy Hochul touted the fact that she wanted all NY property owners to receive tax rebate checks by the end of July, many homeowners haven’t received their rebate checks.

“Despite the governor‘s goal to deliver these checks by the end of July, it did not occur and the actual deadline is October 15,” Sen. Borrello said.

Eligible homeowners are those who receive STAR, or Enhanced STAR, and who make less than $250,000. The benefit is a percentage of a property owner’s STAR.
