The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded program that issues heating benefits to supplement an eligible household’s annual energy costs. HEAP is currently offering its 2023-2024 Regular Benefit for eligible households. Applicants can mail their completed application & copies of the supporting documents directly to the HEAP office.
For individuals who wish to meet with a HEAP representative in person, I have invited HEAP to offer IN-PERSON assistance every TUESDAY at my office from 10am - 3pm. (BEGINNING TUESDAY NOVEMBER 14) My office is located at 3845 Richmond Ave. Suite 2A Staten Island 10312.
Additionally, a HEAP representative will be at 201 Bay Street Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. No appointment is necessary.

The 2023-2024 EMERGENCY HEAP BENEFIT is scheduled to open on January 2, 2024.
