The Shirley Chisholm Day Care Center Needs You

This fall the parents of the Shirley Chisholm Day Care Center got letters saying the program was about to be shut down. They contacted my office and together we’ve been working to keep that from happening. 

To stay open permanently, the center needs 12 more child care workers. If you are interested in applying, please checkout the attached pdf and links below for more details. If you know anyone who might be interested, please forward this to them so we can keep this vital program open for our community!

(Gaps like this will keep happening if we don’t significantly raise wages for child care workers, so if you want to fight for a sustainable future for child care, you can join our efforts to pass the Universal Child Care Act.)
