Senators, Council Members, City Comptroller, and Public Advocate Urge President Biden To Grant Work Authorization To Asylum Seekers

Today, Senator Krueger joined 28 other State Senators, dozens of New York City Council Members, City Comptroller Brad Lander, and Public Advocate Jumaane Williams in a letter to President Biden, urging him to immediately grant work authorization to New York City's asylum seeker population, and increase the number of US Citizenship and Immigration Services staff to expedite application processing.
