Senator Rachel May hosts first-of-its-kind fair highlighting New York's rural resources

Senate chair of the Legislative Commission on Rural Resources, Senator Rachel May, and the Commission's chair in the Assembly, Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, invited more than 20 rural interest groups from around the state to Albany on March 29 for a first-of-its-kind rural resources fair. 

Each group hosted a booth to interact with attendees on various rural topics, including agriculture, water, health, aging, housing, workforce, veterinary science, law, the opioid crisis, and many more.
