MyRye: Admiration for the Championship Rye Girls Varsity Soccer 2023 Team

Everyone loves winners. That includes City and State officials and local Boards of Educations. Don’t believe us? Just ask any of the 26 members of the Rye Girls Varsity Soccer 2023 Class A State Final Championship team.
First, the City of Rye sends proclamations:

Then, The Board of Education extends props when the champs received the Rye Recognition of Excellence Awards from Superintendent Dr. Eric Byrne at the Tuesday, December 5th board meeting. On hand to congratulate the girls were County Executive George Latimer, Lisa Urban, chief of staff to New York State Assemblyman Steve Otis and Rye Mayor Josh Cohn:

Then on Thursday, December 14th, State Senator Shelley Mayer and State Representative Steve Otis came to present the girls with New York State Assembly proclamations:
