Albany, N.Y., March 1—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R,C,I-Big Flats), Ranking Member on the Senate Finance Committee, reminded area residents that this year’s joint Senate-Assembly hearings on Governor Kathy Hochul’s proposed 2023-2024 New York State budget will conclude today with two hearings, a morning hearing on Housing and an afternoon forum on Workforce Development.

During the hearings members of the Legislature’s fiscal committees will hear testimony from top Hochul administration officials, state agency heads, local leaders, and representatives of the wide range of stakeholders impacted by the state’s annual budget.
