O’Mara was sworn in for the new term on Wednesday, January 4, in the State Senate Chamber on the opening day of the new legislative session. The senator was joined by his wife, Marilyn. Watch HERE.
“I look forward to this new legislative session and to representing the communities and residents of several new counties throughout the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions. It is one of New York’s geographically largest legislative districts. The communities and citizens comprising the 58th District share common strengths and goals. I look forward to working with all of you to be a strong voice in Albany, and to keep fighting to secure our priorities for stronger and safer communities,” said O’Mara.
