Senator Helming Presents New York State Commendation Award to Richard Crowley of Victor, NY

Senator Helming recently presented a New York State Senate Commendation Award to Richard Crowley of Victor, NY, at the 2024 Shootout for Soldiers Tournament.
Rich is a United States Navy Veteran who served our country for 26 years and he is a 9-year volunteer at the Canandaigua Shootout for Soldiers Tournament. During his time as a volunteer, Rich has personally fundraised approximately $20,000 for the tournament.
Senator Helming said “I am proud to honor Rich for his incredible military service and for his commitment to giving back to his fellow veterans. He is an inspiration to others, and it was a true honor to present him with a New York State Senate Commendation Award.”
The New York State Senate Commendation Award is given to individuals who do remarkable work in their community, serving their neighborhoods through lasting volunteer and community service efforts.
