The City of Rye will hold a September 11th commemoration ceremony outside the Locust Avenue Firehouse at 5:30 PM September 11, 2024. The event is open to the public.
Immediately following a Blessing, Rye City Mayor Josh Cohn will provide opening remarks. Speakers are expected to include State Senator Shelley Mayer, State Assemblyman Steven Otis, County Executive George Latimer, and County Legislator Catherine Parker.
Reflection and the Reading of Names will be done by Captain Clyde Pitts, City of Rye Fire Department and God Bless America will be sung by Robin Latimer.
