State Senator Luis Sepúlveda Chairs Key Committees

State Senator Luis Sepúlveda has been appointed as the chair of the Cities 1 Committee and  the subcommittee on Judicial Diversity, in addition to serving on the committees for Justice,  Finance, Rules, Code, and Education. These appointments reflect his growing influence in  the New York State Senate.

 Sepúlveda expressed gratitude to Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins for her trust  in his leadership, vision, and experience, noting that her support highlights their shared com  mitment to addressing community challenges. He sees these roles as an opportunity to advo  cate for equity, justice, and increased opportunities, particularly for the Latino community,      during these difficult times.

With these leadership positions, Sepúlveda aims to promote policies that ensure fairness in areas such as education, healthcare, and the judicial system, while striving for systemic change that benefits all New Yorkers.
