Protect Your Family: Search The National Consumer Product Recall List

I encourage residents to be well-informed as to the safety of their household products. There are many instances where a person has been injured by using a product for which a recall has been issued due to safety concerns. In many cases, the victim was unaware that any such recall had existed.

Old power tools, loops in window blind cords, old cribs, hair dryers, jackets, these are just a few of the many products that have been recalled in recent years due to faulty design and the potential for serious injury. Knowledge is the most powerful tool that people have in protecting themselves and their families from household accidents. Simply knowing that a product has been recalled can prevent a tragedy from occuring.
