The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is located at the site of General Washington’s Revolutionary War encampment in New York’s historic Hudson Valley -- the very same site that General Washington created the Purple Heart Award to honor those who sacrificed for the cause of freedom.
I am pleased to join with the Hall of Honor in encouraging New York’s Purple Heart recipients share their stories of gallantry and sacrifice so that they may be included in the Hall’s records, displays and exhibits.
