North Bellmore Tiger Scouts Visit Senator Fuschillo

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) was recently joined in his office by six year old Tiger Scouts from North Bellmore Pack 577. The scouts, who were chaperoned by their leader Samantha Rosen and other parents, visited Senator Fuschillo as part of their scouting requirements.

Senator Fuschillo explained to the young scouts how state government works and what his duties are as a state senator. Afterwards, the scouts had the opportunity to ask Senator Fuschillo questions and offer ideas about new laws.

"This visit was a nice way to introduce these children to the world of government and I really enjoyed their questions. They were a great audience and I hope they learned something from their visit," said Senator Fuschillo.
