Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (19th Assembly District) recently paid a visit to Newbridge Road Elementary School in North Bellmore to talk to the fifth grade class about the Legislative process in New York State.

Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough spoke to the kids about their roles in the New York State Legislature and described the process of how new laws are created. Afterwards, both legislators fielded questions from the students and listened to their ideas for new laws.

"Speaking to school children and teaching them about my role in Albany is one of the most enjoyable parts of this job," stated Senator Fuschillo. "I was very impressed by their questions and great ideas for the future of our State."

"It was a pleasure to meet with the students to explain how our government works, and give them an insight into our historic capitol and Legislature," said Assemblyman McDonough.
