Senator Fuschillo Secures Funding For Veterans Memorial Park Improvement Project

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo (8th Senate District) was joined by Assemblyman David G. McDonough (19th Assembly District), Town of Hempstead officials, and members of the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce in announcing a renovation and beautification project Veterans Memorial Park, which is located on the corner of Broadway and Bedford Avenue. Senator Fuschillo obtained $35,000 in state grant funding for the project.

"Veterans Memorial Park is a great and lasting tribute to the heroes of Bellmore and this funding will enable the Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Hempstead to completely renovate and beautify this area," stated Senator Fuschillo. "This is a very important undertaking, and I was pleased to assist the Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Hempstead by securing funds for this worthwhile project."
