Senator Fuschillo Welcomes Lt. Governor Mary Donohue To His "legislative Update" Show
Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) proudly welcomed New York State Lieutenant Governor Mary Donohue as his guest on his weekly "Legislative Update" television show. The program will air on Friday, June 10 at 4:45 p.m. on Channel 18 of Cablevision’s Woodbury system.
The Lieutenant Governor and Senator Fuschillo spoke about the need for a thorough examination of school safety issues during the show. An active participant in the fight to end school violence, Lieutenant Governor Donohue was appointed by Governor George Pataki to chair the Task Force on School Violence which led to the formation of the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education Act (SAVE).
The two officials also spoke about the other initiatives that she is currently working on and her role as the head of the New York State Delegation to the White House Conference on aging.
